5th Annual Tahoe Snowcial is coming to Tahoe – technology, social media and snowsports enthusiasts unite
Here it comes again: Tahoe Snowcial – one of the coolest social media and technology events in the heart of Lake Tahoe allowing like minded people to connect, learn, ski and have a great time. I love this event and going there is like a family reunion for me. I like seeing everyone from the ski industry and local marketing folks, meeting new people and learning from the amazing speakers who come to this event every year.
When: Feb 27 – March 2, 2013
Where: Harveys Lake Tahoe
What to expect: An amazing line up this year with Tariq Shaukat from Caesars Entertainment, Patrick Harrington from @WalmartLabs, Dean Eckles from Facebook Data Science Team (this should be interesting), Stanley Hainsworh from Tether (I like his pic), Christopher Steiner, co-founder at Aisle50 (does anyone know if his book has been released or his bio is outdated?), Ian Swinson from Salesforce.com, Chris Heuer from Deloitte Digital and more.
Followed by G Love and many happy turns at Heavenly.
How much? – The conference only is $500 but I’m sure you will want to stay for the fun part and go skiing.
What the founders say:
My good friend David LaPlante likes all things technology but mixed with a healthy dose of fun:
“Tahoe Snowcial is not a conference where you simply listen to a speech by the co-founder of Foursquare,” said Dave LaPlante, Tahoe Snowcial co-founder and chief marketing officer at Chrysallis. “It’s a conference where you listen to the speech, ski with, go to a concert with and hit the black jack tables with the co-founder of Foursquare.”
What I say: Meeting the co-founder of FourSquare is pretty cool regardless of where you meet him.
If you are still sitting on the fence and wondering if you should go, maybe this will help.
Full disclosure: This blog post is in no way paid for, sponsored or endorsed by Tahoe Snowcial. But maybe it should 🙂
Hope to see you all there!
