How to like another Facebook business page from a Facebook page on desktop and mobile
How to like another Facebook business page from a Facebook page on desktop or mobile is a very frequent question for many small business owners. Let’s review the current Facebook environment and see how you can do this.
Here’s the official response from Facebook: You can only do this from a desktop or the Pages Manager App (not the Facebook app). If you’re on a tablet or mobile device, you could try logging in to your Facebook account via a web browser (Safari or Chrome, as opposed to the app) and then access your business Page and try and like it from there using the steps above.
Login into Facebook as yourself. Choose your page on the right hand side.
Go to your page.
Type in the page you want to like in the search bar. You will see if you have liked it as your page or not from your business account. If you haven’t you can click on the Like button on the right hand side.
Another way to do this is to click on the three dots while on the page and like it as your page.
Login into Pages App Manager
If a Facebook page has mentioned you or tagged you you can click on the page and like it from the Pages Manager.
There are many business owners who are struggling with these questions. You can check out this Facebook Forum on the issue to see their questions:
How to see what pages you have liked from your business page
Login into the Business Manager and click on the right hand side: “See Pages Feed”
You will see all posts from pages that your page has liked so far.
From here you can like or share posts. If you work with Hootsuite or Buffer you can schedule the post for a later time. Just click on the bottom part and make sure you have the Hootlet and Buffer added to your Chrome browser.
To do this on mobile, login into Safari and access your Business Manager. Follow the same steps.
I know it’s very confusing working with Facebook for your business page. You have to switch between Business Manager and Personal Profile and then you want to do somethings while on the go. I hope Facebook will make it easier to do so through the Pages App one day. Until then, I still stick to desktop.
