Back in October, I had the pleasure to interview Andrew Wiens from TripAdvisor, at the 2014 etourism conference. We all know that tourism brands live or die by their consumer reviews so I wanted to find out from the source what are the most critical things a brand manager can do. Watch this video and make sure you are up to speed with TripAdvisor’s best policies.
Here’s what Andrew Weins recommends that tourism brands do on TripAdvisor. It’s simpler than you think:
- Take ownership of your brand on TripAdvisor. It’s free and easy. Go and do it today. You can claim your listing on TripAdvisor here.
- Upload lots of photos to your profile. People love to see what your place looks like.
- Engage in the conversation. If people are writing negative reviews – address their concerns. If people are writing positive reviews – thank them. Participate and show that you listen and you care.
